Look him up. His foxes in snow are the best. Created in Corel Painter 9/10 for the Midwest Fur Fest hotel keycard. I was very very nervous creating art of which everyone at the hotel would have a physical copy.

If you were a king Up there on your throne Would you be wise enough to let me go? Another live painting demo, this time full background, full body. What the hell is wrong with me. Created in Sketcher right here on ArtSpots! I was very inspired by Nambroth's work, and the photos by Radd Ix and Scotto on DA. Not my best okami stylization, but it sure was fun! This was made during a sketch session with Neogeen in Sketcher. It's her critter Benvolio, the Winterbeast! Dude, check out that half assed ice. I can't draw that stuff without reference.

This was titled by Thornwolf. A graphic gryphon made for a website. I was influenced by Claire Wendlings work, a wonderful artist who can draw people AND animals with flair and life. I was having way too much fun coloring this. If I could, I'd pop iridescent pheasant feathers all over this.

Just foolin around before heading to bed. Bedtime should have been...2 hours ago. Oh well. I am reading a book about alchemy. I haven't gotten very far yet, iI looked at the art before I really started reading. The reproductions of old woodcuts are just beautiful! Some are crappy, but all are charming. I find the alchemical symbols neat so I threw some on here. I am sure it says something about hate and incest. It seems like there was a lot of hate and incest and death and rebirth and on. For example, I just opened to a random page and the caption for the illustration says, "Trapped in the womb: the adept expiring in his putrefying egg, or fetid vessel." AWESOME

A gryphon with it's chick. The chick looks to be saying "Stop being so noble already and feed me!" I modeled the chick on baby eagles and a peacock baby that had just hatched a few days before I worked on this.
