This is the only copy of have of this piece, which makes me very very sad. It was as if I was doomed to never complete this piece from the start. After losing the first version to one of Painter's whims (the program crashed and corrupted the file, and ever since then I have made back ups of every file. Painter 10 does this automatically), I started over with the idea of making it bigger and better. And it was! This was almost done when I left it. Sometime later, the computer suffered a hard drive failure and for some reason, this piece was never recovered.

I had changed the legs a bit since this version was saved, finished the wings, and added grass. Urgh. I do want to try this again, some day.

Wow, this is really lovely and I like the colors you chose for the background. Such a shame its lost, and I hope you can find someone that has the later WIP. Its so disheartening when something like this happens with multiple huge hangups. Don't let it get you down!

oh that's so sad!! :(

I've had class project that had that happen to. *tears* Major ones, those are always the ones that hurt most to loose. The ones we spend so much time on, and that time can never be replaced. :( So sad.
