I spent days plucking the wing of a deceased cockatiel to learn about feather layering. This is my favorite drawing!

I later learned that what I was observing from the plucking is called Pterolysis.

very dedicated. I'm too chicken (no pun intended) to play with dead birds as there's avian flu here and i'm a prime candidate to die from it. Asthma + SARS = death.
